This video series, presented by The Ohio State University professor, Dr. David Brakke, will examine the non-canonical writings about Jesus, his family and the early apostles. This week: Revelations That Didn’t Make the Bible.
Engage Bible Study resumes on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Building. This year’s theme, Proclaiming Christ Risen, will be explored through the book of Acts. Acts tells the story of the early church. The Registration and cost of the book is $25.

New Collection Drive
Collection Drive for Art for Humanity
Trinity’s Church & Society Committee sponsors monthly collections for local and worldwide ministries. During September, we’re collecting over-the-counter health care products for Art for Humanity in Honduras. Due to chronic malnutrition, multivitamins are particularly needed.
- Neosporin antibiotic cream
- Cough drops
- Cortisone anti-itch cream
- Band aids
Please be sure products have 12 months before expiration. Leave your donations in the donation baskets located outside the sanctuary and in the fellowship building.
Crafts for a Cause
The Christmas season has arrived early for Crafts for a Cause, as work has begun on making 50 red and white flannel Christmas stockings for newborns at Fair Oaks Hospital. One of our knitters, Ann Skelly, has been busy knitting Santa hats that accompany the stockings.
If you’d like to help make stockings, pillows, dolls, blankets and dresses, join of our work sessions on alternating Monday nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 124. Future work sessions: Sept. 10 and Sept. 24.
We also have homework projects if you can’t make the work sessions. And if you know of someone recovering from surgery or illness who might like a comfort pillow, please let us know. For more information, contact Molly Sprouse, email@example.com.
Crafts for a Cause continues to offer summer dresses for sale after both worship services in the Fellowship Building. Handmade, all-cotton summer dresses in sizes from 2 to 8 will be available in limited supply. Proceeds will help fund Crafts and Mission projects.
