Across the world in Uganda, there are 52 girls who now have a brand-new dress and a doll, thanks to the work of Crafts for a Cause. And not so far away in Fairfax, 120 newborns went home from Fair Oaks Hospital with a knit cap, and patients found comfort from neck pillows, lap blankets, heart pillows and surgery dolls. Trinity’s crafts group is also providing backpacks, pajamas, stuffed animals and toiletries to foster kids through the Comfort Cases project sponsored by Caroline Speidel.
If you would like to be a part of this ministry, join Crafts for a Cause on alternating Monday nights from 7 to 8:30 in Room 124. Upcoming sessions: May 7 and May 21. We also have homework projects. Details: firstname.lastname@example.org.
