The Sound of Believin’

By Catherine Wethington, Director of Children’s & Youth Choirs

The Trinity Trebles will be performing and brand new and never before heard musical written by yours truly and Keith Lee. The show flashes back to the 60’s and tells us about questions that Wise Wendy had when she was young. Questions that all of us have had when we were young- Why do we need to go to church? Do you think God is real? Does God answer prayers? Can God help us when we are scared or sad? The overall message of the musical comes from Matthew 7:8, Jesus’ sermon on the mount when he states- “for everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks the door will be opened.” With a little help from our friends- Buffalo Springfield, the Monkees, The Beatles, Three Dogs Night, Rolling Stones, and more- we bring this story to life and enjoy a few of our favorite tunes along the way. The Trinity Trebles will present The Sound of Believin’ on May 13, Mother’s Day at 10:30 a.m. It’s a show you won’t want to miss!

Have a Groovy Day!
