We continue to pray for those seeking employment, college students, travelers, the people of Florida, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, relief workers, those dealing with mental illness, our elected leaders, church committees, military families, immigrants, victims of violence and war, the Great Mills High School community and the people and communities affected by more than 49 mass shootings* this year.

Children’s Sunday School Teaching Opportunity: To volunteer as a teacher or assistant, please contact Keith Lee or Melissa Harris.

 Collection for Comfort Cases: The youth group is collecting backpacks and supplies for Comfort Cases (, an organization that supports foster kids. We’re collecting: Small duffel bag/backpack, pajamas (child size 10-adult XXL), small blanket (preferably fuzzy), stuffed animal, journal, pens, pencils, books, adult toothbrush, and travel size toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, body wash, deodorant). Our goal is to collect supplies for five Comfort Cases! There will be a box in Room 403 to drop off the supplies by April 30.

Crafts for a Cause: Our next bimonthly work sessions will be on Monday night, April 9 and 23, from 7 to 8:30. No “crafty” skills required, just helping hands. For more information, contact Molly Sprouse.

Easter Egg Hunt for children on the field by the Fellowship Building following the 10:30 worship service on March 25. If you forget your basket, a bag will be available.

Easter Flower Delivery and Decorating will be Saturday morning. All are welcome to join in the fun to help transform our worship space into something suitable to welcome the King. Contact Margie Meak for more information.

Girl Scout Silver Award Project: Trinity member, Amelia Swenson is working on a Girl Scout silver award project to benefit Friends- Falls Church Homeless Shelter. Her project includes collecting unused shower shoes and t-shirts of all sizes. There will be donation boxes in the narthex for the whole month of April, so please bring in some supplies to benefit the homeless. Thank you!

Movie Night: Saturday, April 7: The Lovings are hosting Movie Night with playground time, hot dogs and a movie. Drop off your children at 5 p.m. and come back at 9 p.m.! The movie will be shown in the Fellowship Lobby. RSVP

This Month’s Collection: Martha’s Table: We are collecting travel-sized toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soaps, etc.). Martha’s Table,, is a fantastic organization that provides help to homeless and underprivileged people in Washington, DC, by providing access to food, education, and opportunities.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located in McLean, VA. Our weekly worship services are on Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and on Wednesdays at noon. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. for children and adults. Children up to 6th grade are also invited to Children's Education during the 10:30 service.
