Crafts for a Cause: March will be a bonus month for Crafts for a Cause, when there will be an extra opportunity to make comfort items. In addition to the bimonthly work session on Monday night, March 19, from 7 to 8:30, there will be two workshops on March 24 from 10 a.m. to noon during Good Works Day. Adults can meet in Room 124 to stuff pillows, cut fabric, make blankets and sew dresses. Children ages 8 and up can make “Pilgrim dolls” for needy girls in Uganda in the Fellowship Building. Social justice is an important part of who we are as United Methodists. In that spirit, a group of TUMC members will be taking part in the March For Our Lives in Washington, DC, on Saturday, March 24. Logistics are still being worked out. This Month’s Collection: Martha’s Table: We are collecting travel-sized toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soaps, etc.). Martha’s Table,
marthastable.org, is a fantastic organization that provides help to homeless and underprivileged people in Washington, DC, by providing access to food, education, and opportunities.
Wonderful Wednesday Dinners are served 6-7 p.m. each week. After dinner you are invited to stay for Trinity Trebles (children’s choir), Pastor Sprouse’s Bible Study or fellowship with your church family. This week’s menu: chicken, rice pilaf and salad.
