Fellowship is the common purpose and devotion that binds Christians together and to Christ. “Where two or three gather in [Christ’s] name,” we ideally spend time in fellowship, sharing our interests, desires, and motivations.
Our mission here at Trinity is to proclaim the gospel and to bring people into the body of Christ, to lead them to a commitment to God, to nurture them in Christian living, and to send them into the world with a renewed spirit. Perhaps Trinity is your church home because you feel welcome here. Won’t you pass that feeling along? Take a few minutes to connect with your fellow worshipers after the Sunday services by coming to the Fellowship Lobby, having a cup of coffee and a snack, seeing old friends – and making new ones.
Even better: Volunteer to greet at the 8:30 a.m. service and to bring a snack for the Fellowship Hour. Instructions and coaching are provided! E-mail Karen Taylor (email@example.com) if you’d like to join the list of potential greeters. After the 10:30 a.m. service, the various ministry areas of the church do a fine job of hosting the Fellowship Hour each week. If you’d like to help, just dive into the life of Trinity, and you’ll get your chance!
The Sanctuary will be decorated with poinsettias for Christmas Eve. To purchase a plant in honor or memory of a loved one, fill out this form, enclose your check payable to Trinity UMC, and drop it in the offering plate or send it to the office by Sunday, December 1. The plants are $10 each. Please write “Poinsettias” on the memo line of your check. You will be able to take the plants home after the service.
